David Hook

David Hook is the Managing Director at Baymark Partners, a private equity firm specializing in leveraged recapitalizations and management buyouts of high-growth and middle-market companies. Under his leadership, the firm has achieved significant milestones, including investing in over 50 early-stage high-technology companies. Many of these startups have successfully launched IPOs, selling five for over $165 million each. Over the past 15 years, he has been instrumental in acquiring 60 companies, significantly impacting the firm's growth trajectory. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he began his academic journey at Bowling Green State University before transferring to Wittenberg University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He remains actively involved in academia, often guest lecturing MBA students at Southern Methodist University on topics related to business finance and entrepreneurship.
