Lastnightinmadison

History Lastnightinmadison made its web debut in 2005.The blog, written each morning, detailed the happenings of the previous night among a group of young women in their final year as undergraduates at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Each post was basically a hangover, verbalized. Lastnightinmadison was with us in class, at Camp Randall, in College Library and of course, at Mondays...and Paul's Club...and Hawks...and Amy's...and back at Mondays. And the blog taught us many things, like how fun it is to be 21. And how doing that is only classy when the girls on Sex and the City do it. But Lastnightinmadison also left us several burning questions, like after how many vodkas does it become inappropriate to call my 90 year old grandmother and wish her a happy birthday? And, is that guy completely off limits if he literally lives in the Towers? Life is so confusing! Present Day That's why, 5 years later, the blog has been reborn. Now in my mid-20's, I've lived a little, worked a little, traveled a little and now I'm back in Madison. To make sure Lastnightinmadison was authentic as possible, I even went back to school at the UW last fall. Some things will be different though. Lastnightinmadison will focus more on the venues in and around this great city and how to weave the perfect combination of locations into one evening in order to successfully forget, if only for a few hours, that you are underpaid, overworked and you haven't cleaned your microwave in 3 years.
