I have two amazing sons who are nearly 12 and 10 years old. I taught secondary English, Phys. Ed. and Special Education for 10 years prior to becoming a high school administrator. I was a high school vice principal for 6 years before being promoted to the role of Acting Principal this past fall. I could have never imagined that their was a job that I would love more than teaching but truly - my colleagues were right - being a principal is best and most inpiring role ever. I love working with teenagers and inspiring others to lead. When I have the time I love reading, gardening, cleaning, being at the cottage, long naps and spending time with my boys. I also love learning and am currently enrolled in a Masters of Education in Digital Technology with a leadership emphasis at UOIT. I wholeheartidly agree with Aesop that, "No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted."
