Pat Paxson: Mind-full Art

I am an artist, have been for years. I am fascinated by people: their thoughts, memories, interactions with others. My explorations are ways to refer to these matters by way of line and color, such that there are often figures in my paintings, but they may be seen as shadows, partially shown or somewhat distorted. This is because I am fascinated by the thoughts and emotions conjured up by the partial representations...both in my self and in viewers as they gaze.
