I teach Composition and Literature to college freshpeople in Massachusetts. I am 54 years old and I began teaching relatively late, although I had always wanted to teach. Prior to my college role, I taught in a few high schools. I also write poetry and fuss about writing in other genres. This public writing terrifies me.
