I am a musician who believes in the power of music and the positive and negative influences it has on an individual and society. So being from the R.A.P./ H.I.P. H.O.P. community I am assisting in the removal that our music is only filled with with the ignorant stereotype that is prevalent in the message it gives today. It is in fact lacking the options that early RAP had when there where different artists who offered avenues of a variety of the art form, in comparison to the one that is dominating the airwaves now. Some before who like me did not curse or disrespect our women or themselves , they spoke on social issues but now they are in short order why?? I do not have the answer but I have a solution keep that form of music alive through my music and influence so that others will know there are options besides corporate ignorant rap music.
